Steps To Protect Google Chrome Browser With Password
Step 1. First of all download and install the latest version of Google Chrome Browser on your computer. Now in Google Chrome browser open this link.
Step 2. Now there you will find the extension named Set password for your browser, click on Add to chrome button and then simply on add. Now it will check for the Google Chrome’s version and will be prepared to install in your Chrome browser
Step 3. The extension will start installing into your browser and after it will get added, it will ask you a password to set. Enter any of the passwords you want to set on your browser and click on save button.

Do you know Google Chrome provides the option to password protect the browser? I guess many will say no. However, you can use inbuilt password protection that comes up with Google Chrome itself to lock your Chrome browser, you just need to follow few steps.
Step 1. Open Google chrome browser and type “chrome://flags/#enable-new-profile-management” without the quotation marks in the address bar and hit enter.
step 2. Now you need to click on drop-down button just underneath “Enable new profile management system” and make it “Enabled”
Step 3. Once you had made the changes, you will see “Relaunch now” option showing up at the bottom of the page. Relaunch it.

Step 4. Now you need to head over settings and the look for “People” and click on “Add person”
Step 5. There you need to check the checkbox for “Control and view the websites this person visits” and click on “ADD”
that’s it, now whenever you click on Account button which is located just beside Minimize button, you will see the option for “Exit and child lock” . Now you need to enter the password to log in with Google chrome.
